Types of “cookies” used

This website uses both temporary session “cookies” and permanent “cookies”. Session “cookies” store data only while the user accesses the website. Permanent “cookies” store data in the terminal to be accessed and utilized on more than one session.

Depending on the purpose of the handling of data obtained through “cookies” the site can use:

Technical cookies

These allow the user to navigate through the website or application and use the different options or services within the site. Some of their functions include traffic control and data communication, session identification, restricted area access, storage of elements that are part of an order, registration requests for an event, security element usage during navigation and storage of contents for the dissemination of videos or sound.

Customization cookies

These allow the user to access the service with some general characteristics predefined in his or her terminal or defined by him or her. For example: the language, type of navigator used to access the service, selected content design, terminal geolocation and regional configuration from where the service is accessed.

Advertising Cookies

These allow an efficient management of the advertising spaces that are included in the website or application from where the service is provided. They enable the adaptation of advertising content to make it relevant to the user and to avoid showing ads that the user has already seen.

Statistical Analysis Cookies

These enable the follow up and analysis of user behavior in websites. The collected information using this type of cookies is utilized to measure the activity in websites, applications or platforms, with the goal of compiling user navigation profiles to introduce improvements in the service based on the usage data collected.

Third Party Cookies

In some webpages, third party cookies can be installed. These enable the management and improvement of services offered. An example would be the statistical services of Google Analytics and Comscore.
